The lonely Oak Tree
By Haleema Asad
So blue and bright
So pink and light
How did you live in the morning’s darkness and the light of the night which scorches your face?
Do you see that hill I do?
I hope you don’t
It is so green and black
And it’s crimson edge so bright.
The Oak Tree stands there alone as the keeper of the sea
I am going to help the lonely Oak Tree.
