A departmental orientation ceremony for the new media students was held at Fatima Jinnah Hall on February 1, 2017. They were introduced to the faculty and informed about the rules and regulations of the department. A talk show was also conducted by the current students of the department in which students from every semester briefly discussed the projects they undertook during the last semester. The orientation concluded with a campus tour for the new students.
