A workshop was conducted by published author, Muhammed Ali Samejo, on Storytelling for a Podcast Audience, organised by the Department of Media Studies, under the supervision of Ms. Hafsa Maqbool. The session combined elements of creative writing and voice acting for audio plays and stories.

The students of BS-7 (Journalism) learned how a newsroom operates as they visited the office of Geo News with their Course Instructor Ms Sidra Dar. The Bureau Chief of Geo News Karachi, Mr Faheem Siddiqui, explained the functioning of the newsroom to students and showed them the Central and Bureau Desks of the channel.
Outdoor Photography Session
An outdoor photography session was held with Media Studies students under the supervision of renowned photographer and our respected faculty member, Mr. Syed Akbar. The core theme of the activity was to explore outdoor shoots and how to rightly compose your subjects inside the frame under the wide daylight.
