Short Biography
Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq is a Senior Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Media Studies Bahria University Karachi campus. Dr. Ashfaq’s research interests are Media Content Analysis, Digital Journalism, and Impact of Social Media.
Dr. Ashfaq earned a PhD in Media Studies from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Prior to his doctoral studies. His work has been published in leading international and national academic peer-reviewed journals such as the International Review of Psychiatry, SEARCH Journal of Media and Communication Research, Asian Journal of Comparative Politics, Croatian journal for journalism and the media, Plaridel: A Philippine Journal of Communication, Media, and Society, and Mediaciones Sociales.
