It was guest lecture arrange for Maritime Sciences Students especially for Second and Fourth Semester.
Guest Speaker was DR. HINA BAIG, Ex-Director General of National Institute of Oceanography (NIO).
The topic of guest lecture was “Biological Oceanography with special reference to Marine Food Chain”.
She told the importance of primary producer phytoplankton and seaweeds in her lecture. She also discussed policies regarding Five Year Plan for fisheries sector, sustainable Fisheries, Integrated Coastal Management, Marine Environment and Climate Change.
