Short Biography

Mr. Abdul Rasheed holds a Masters in Comparative Religion from the International Islamic University Islamabad and an M.Phil. from the University of Karachi, with research focusing on life skills-based education and Islam. Currently pursuing his Ph.D., he’s exploring Pakistan’s national narrative and the Sharia’s stance on armed struggle against the Islamic State.

Mr. Abdul Rasheed is a dedicated researcher focusing on eradicating polarization based on sectarian, religious, and ethnic lines. With 12 research publications in Islamic studies and participation in 6 national and international conferences by April 1, 2024, he specializes in interfaith harmony, peace promotion, tolerance, career counseling, gender empowerment through Islamic principles, and youth engagement. Additionally, he is a founding member of the Islamian Mehranian Alumni (IMA), providing support to youth. Recognized for his diplomatic skills, he won “Best Diplomat Delegate” at the national model OIC Pakistan and has been actively involved in workshops, seminars, and conferences. He moderates programs, serves as a keynote speaker, and organizes events like research symposiums and national conferences.

Currently, he runs “Live By Quran,” (livebyquran.org) an online religious academy for Muslim youth abroad, teaching Islamic studies and human rights-related topics.
