Bahria University Islamabad Campus has organized Business Plan Exhibition with great enthusiasm and exuberance. Bahria University is at the forefront of creating and disbursing knowledge and this was another effort of Bahria University to show commitment to excellence in higher education. The university intends to equip its students with the finest principles and educational tools to enhance their talents and  capabilities.

President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICC&I), Mr. Shaban Khalid and Mr. Imran Masood, Ex. Education Minister Government of Punjab, graced the occasion as a chief guests.

There were total 50 entrepreneurial projects from the field of marketing, project management displayed on the exhibition. The purpose of the event was to enable students to produce work as entrepreneurs and collaborate with the industry to cope with challenges of the economy. It was a medium to give access to students to interact and collaborate with industry people as students need a platform on which they can play an active role in the development and progress of the country. This unsurpassed arrangement and renewal of industry linkage offers several benefits such as polishing of entrepreneurial skills and feedback on the success of the project. This exhibition was held to identify the gaps to link industry with academia and build new capabilities to sustain our economy. It will also serve to enhance University’s collaborations with the industry.

While addressing to the audience, Honorable Rector of Bahria University Vice Admiral® Shahid Iqbal HI (M), threw light on the research, innovation and commercialization in educational institutes. He said that Bahria University has established business incubation centers at Karachi & Islamabad campuses to procreate space for young and prospective entrepreneurs with imitable business ideas and strong commercialize-able aspect.

Faculty Members and Students of other departments also participated in the event and appreciated the BU efforts in organizing this event. The ceremony concluded with the awards presentation for the top 3 projects in the exhibition.
