Seerat-un-Nabi (S.A.W.W) Conference 2020
Bahria University Karachi Campus organised Seerat-un-Nabi (S.A.W.W) Conference 2020 on November 6th, 2020. Program was managed by Bahria Humanities and Social Sciences School with key organising committee, faculty of Islamic Studies.
Program started at 10:40 a.m. after the arrival of honourable chief guest Commodore (Rtd) Muzammil Hussain SI(M), (SE) DG BUKC, and respected guest speaker Dr. Zeeshan Ahmed Dean KSBL. Cdr Ahsan ul Haq, as the master of ceremony, welcomed guests and started the program. Naat and Speech competitions were followed right after the Qirat of Holy Quran by Dr. Abdul Qadir, Assistant Professor BUKC.
10 participants for Naat and speech were given time of 5 minutes for their performance. The respectful judges Amir Sultan, Senior Associate professor BUKC, Dr. Abdul Qadir, Assistant Professor BUKC and Dr. Amber Ghani, and Assistant Professor BUKC finalised the results. In addition, the honourable Guest Speaker delivered his valuable insight about Seerat-un-Nabi (S.A.W.W) and advised the audience to follow the foot-prints of Hazarat Muhammad (S.A.W.W). Afterwards, a souvenir was presented to the respected guest speaker by the chief guest.
Gifts and cash prizes were distributed to Top 3 positions and Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to the runner up. The closing remarks were given by Chief Guest, in which he emphasised the objective of Seerat Conference and, he also appreciated audience and organising committee for its dedicated effort. At the end, refreshment was served to the Guests.
