Short Biography
I am devoted over 5 years to academia, serving as a Lecturer and holding a M.Phil’s degree in English. With aspirations to extend my research to the doctoral level, I actively contribute as a member of the British Council, providing language training to educators across various schools.
My pedagogical approach centers on fostering student-centered classrooms, where learners are empowered to play a significant role in shaping their educational journey. By tailoring instruction to individual needs and soliciting input from students regarding topics of interest and preferred learning methods, l cultivates an environment conducive to critical thinking and active participation.
My ultimate aim is to cater to the diverse needs of every student, prioritizing inclusivity and employing a range of teaching strategies to accommodate varying learning styles. From incorporating extensive reading and outdoor experiential learning to tapping into different intelligences such as verbal-linguistic, kinesthetic, and visual, I seek to provide students with holistic learning experiences that not only enhance academic understanding but also nurture a deeper connection to the natural world. Through these methods, l aims to instill in my students a sense of environmental stewardship and a passion for lifelong learning.
