FACULTY AND STUDENTS’ ACHEIVEMENT

“Department of Humanities and Social Sciences” is proud to share that two of BS-ENG-VI students, Ghazal Firdous and Zainub Merchant, presented their papers  in the Hamdard International Conference on Linguistics and Literature-2021, held on April 7th, 2021. The students presented and co-authored the papers under the supervision of their dedicating faculty Ms. Aneeqa Memon, Lecturer, H&SS. Their papers are entitled “Role of Women in Furtherance of Archetypal Gender Roles with reference to Shazaf Fatima Haider’s ‘How it Happened’ “and “Male Dandification in The Fight Club: Marxist Analysis of the Constructed Male-Identity”, respectively.

Moreover, two of its faculty members, Ms. Zehra Shah and Ms. Aliza Haider also presented their papers. Ms. Zehra Shah secured 2nd position in 3 Minutes Thesis Presentation contest. Students of BS-ENG-VII also attended the conference. It was indeed an enriching experience for the students and faculty.
