The Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences has celebrated World Water Day 2019 at Karachi Campus by arranging guest lectures followed by on campus walk in commemoration of Water Day 2019 theme “Leaving no-one behind”. The Director General BUKC V/Adm ( R ) Mukhtar Khan HI ( M) grace the occasion by attending the lectures and taking a lead in on campus walk. The walk was preceded by a seminar on theme of World Water day.  HOD Earth & Environmental Science Dr. Syed Shahid Ali appraised the participant about importance of water in biogeochemical Cycle and its depletion due to human intervention. DG BUKC emphasized the need to hold environment related events to update and sensitize BU Community.
