Microprocessor course is being taught as the compulsory and basic subject for the student of Electronic Engineering during their undergraduate study. Microprocessor lab at Bahria University provides foundational education in areas of computer’s Central Processing on a single integrated circuit. The interfacing trainer used in lab with specification LCD Module, Keypad, LED bar, Serial Port, Seven Segments Pair, and ADC. This trainer is used to guide students that how to interface microprocessor with different peripherals. Students learn interfacing of LCD and Keypad, serial transmitting of characters to the PC and different blinking of LEDs in LED bar and etc. Keil uVision software is used to write a program code. This software also used to convert the code in the respective machine code that processor can understand.
Courses offered in Microprocessor Lab:
- CEN-305 Microprocessor System and Interfacing
- CEN-440 Embedded System Design
