The Electrical Machines laboratory is a well-equipped laboratory for instructions and research. It is specially used to carry out practical work for Electrical Machines using latest machine trainers. The purpose of this lab is to give students hands on experience on AC as well as DC motors & generators. It is also design to provide supports to the research activities in the areas of machining and machine tool systems. The Lab-Volt Electrical machine trainers are specially acquired in order to perform experiments related to Single Phase/Three Phase Transformers, Induction motors, synchronous machines etc.

The main goals of Electrical Machine lab at Bahria University are:

• Techniques for performance modeling and analysis of Electrical systems
• Objective is to familiarize students with Machine’s Inductive load, Synchronizing unit, DC Machine, AC Synch. Motor and Electrical Motor
• Indigenous development of experiments for the laboratory and demonstrations for the classroom environment
