The Telecommunication Systems Laboratory is the research and applied arm of the Electronics and Telecom Engineering Program. Course offered in lab being taught to student of Electronics and Telecom Engineering during their undergraduate study. Telecom lab at Bahria University provides students to do hands-on work in testing, simulations, and research. The laboratory has capacity to simulate practical of Digital Signal Processing, Filters, Fiber-Optic Communication, Analog and Digital Transmission, Wireless and Mobile Communication, and Antennas.
The main goals of Telecom lab at Bahria University are:
- Upgraded TMS320VC6713 and TMS320VC5510 DSK boards that enables the students to study and simulate digital signal processing practical.
- Student’s used latest OMEGA and K&H trainers for phototransistor and photodiodes detector in electrical to optical conversion and optic cable used as medium.
- Lab give practical description principles of digital and analog transmission encountered in common carriers and in private networks and exposure to the latest issues in the telecommunications industry.
- The Telecommunications Lab is the premier research wing for the students and laboratory provides instruction in the latest telecommunication technologies, offers a facility for student and faculty research.
