Industrial Visits of Student’s of Electrical Engineering, in December 2016

Besides traditional class room based learning, industrial visit help in reinforcement of educational knowledge. Electrical Engineering department, BUKC organized such industrial visits for third and final year students every year.

In December, 2016 EE department organized such an informative industrial visits at following industries.

• K-Electric Korangi Creek 280MW Power Plant: Class of 7th semester students accompanied with Assistant Professors Engr.Faisal Siddiqui and Engr.Asif Raza visited the plant on 13th Dec 2016.
• Pakistan Cables: Class of 5th semester students accompanied with Assistant Professor Engr.Faisal Siddiqui visited the plant on 8th Dec 2016. Pakistan Cables is one the leading copper cable manufactures in Pakistan.
• Zong (China Mobile): Class of 7th semester students accompanied with Assistant Professor Engr.Faisal Siddiqui visited the Zong Regional office and MSC (Mobile Switching Center) on 6th Dec 2016. Zong is one of the leading mobile operators in Pakistan.

K-Electric, Pakistan Cables and Zong managed the visit professionally and welcomed us with great enthusiasm.

Students witnessed the different areas of plant and MSC. The technical representatives of above mentioned industries shared the technical knowledge to Students as well.

In last but not least students learned a lot. Such kind of industrial visits always helpful to students in their upcoming professional life.
