Bahria University has the privilege of inaugurating a newly established dedicated R&D Room for Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The room is equipped with state of the art R&D Equipments for the Faculty to pursue their research in the areas of, but are not limited to; Embedded Systems Design and Image Processing. The Lab is responsible for designing Raspberry Pi, FPGAs, AVR and PIC Embedded Controllers based systems for Academia and Industry.

Faculty R&D room is a space dedicated for faculty members where they can work on their research projects. It is being upgraded with high end computing machines as well as state of the art research equipment. MS and PhD students can also work on their thesis work.

Currently, following Projects are being in process:

• Implementation of  Intelligent Transportation Systems
• Resisitvity Meter
• 5 DOF Robotic Arm
• Formation Control of Drones

The main goal of Faculty R&D Room at Bahria University is:

• To facilitate faculty for the R&D environment.
• To work on cutting edge embedded technologies and systems.
