Bahria Innovation and Technological Society (BITS)
Introduction: Bahria Innovation and Technological Society (BITS) was formed in 2013 with the aim to collaborate the academy with industry. The name reflects the purpose of the society. The society conducts seminars to narrow the gap between industry and academy, workshops to practice latest tactics being practiced internationally and open sessions to help students get their queries solved. BITS believe in providing students platform to enhance their skills and motivates to exhibit their talent.
Mission statement: To provide a platform for the students of the Department of Electrical Engineering. A platform that would enable them to be associated with the University’s student body alongside catering to their specific needs. They would also get to know and build lasting relationships with other student bodies, which would inevitably aid towards the betterment of the University and its members.
Vision statement: Creating an atmosphere in which engineering students are conductive to learning the advancements in their fields of study, in which they are pushed forward to hone their social and management skills, which at times can be extremely underdeveloped. We also want to promote habits that keep them in touch with industrial & technological developments.
Aim: The aim is to provide a platform to the students of Electrical Engineering to polish their abilities and reap the benefits from this society. The society will organize certain events related to engineering, industrial visit, participation in other events.

BITS will be run under the administration of Sir Haroon Rasheed (HOD Electrical Engineering) with some help from the staff. The posts will be given to students to empower them and encourage them to have a taste of practical life before they enter it. The processes will be transparent with equal opportunities and entire focus will be aimed on the greater good of the students of BUKC.
