‘She Loves Tech’ is the world’s largest startup competition focused on women and technology and is happening in 40+ countries, including Pakistan, China, UAE, South Africa, France, Germany, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, etc. CIRCLE Pakistan – an organization that works for women’s economic empowerment – is excited to bring this competition to Pakistan.
In 2020, She Loves Tech held 8 local rounds across the country in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Gilgit-Baltistan, Sukkur, Quetta, Abbottabad, Multan and Faisalabad which were attended by Sagheer Mufti, Dr. Sania Nishtar, Muna Shamsuddin, Annabel Gerry and other dignitaries that created a wave of enthusiasm among the participants and the audience. Hira Irshad of APRUS Technologies won the Pakistan She Loves Tech National competition in 2020 and competed in the Global Finals against 30 startups.
If any of your students are working on a startup, they are welcome to apply to this competition if:
1) they have a tech-enabled business
2) they have at least one female founder or the majority of the users are women
