Wohoo! Pakistan’s National Energy Grid gets an additional 780 megawatts (MW).
U.S. Consul General Mark inaugurated the USAID-funded Wind Power Transmission System in Jhimpir, aimed at helping Pakistan transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy mix. The mutual investment from the United States and Pakistan added 780 megawatts (MW) of wind power capacity to Pakistan’s National Energy Grid.
To support current and future wind energy projects across Sindh’s wind corridor, he also visited the Jhimpir Power Limited (JPL) wind power project.
