Syed Hassan Ashraf is a strong believer in utilizing technological advancements to promote and actively participate in environmental, social, and human well-being.
Hassan has been serving the corporate industry for the last 05 years right after graduating from Bahria University – Karachi in the year 2015.
While working at Dawlance Group of Companies (Arçelik A.Ş.), he acted as the data subject expert for the applications (SAP and Non-SAP Applications). Working on multiple projects simultaneously and evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions, ensuring the adequacy of sales and after-sales related systems (Both ERP and Customized Applications), providing support to 1500+ users, and being a part of Project Management team for SAP implementation at Dawlance; assisting in different aspects of the project life cycle and with combined Team efforts successful implementation of SAP.
Currently, he is an Analyst at Engro Corporation for Business Applications and Digital Transformation, supporting ICT management through the program/product life-cycle that includes planning, documentation and implementation, stakeholder coordination, and communication with program steering, senior management, and customers.
Hassan loves to interact with people from varied backgrounds. He also likes to read books and magazines. He has also developed a keen interest in social work supporting various noble causes from time to time.
In a talk on “Role of IT in a modern business” where he was a guest speaker at Bahria University Karachi Campus, he advised students by, “We are living in a wondrous world where truth is stranger than the fiction. The fictions which we listened to in our childhood stories or watched in cartoons have now become reality. imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution and it is no accident that businesses that failed to innovate ultimately ceased to exist. Change is a good thing, be the change. Accept it and embrace it”.
