Dr. Waqas Abdul Aziz Khattak is a medical doctor. by profession, having graduated from Sheikhn Zaid Medical College Lahore. After his house job he served as a demonstrator in Islamabad Medical and Dental College, Islamabad for 13 months. He completed his MS in public health from Health services Academy Islamabad. Currently he is serving in FDI as a public health physician on WHO contract since 3 and a half years and playing a pivotal role in surveillance, reporting disease out breaks, AEFI’s, activating rapid response teams, elucidating masses on questions of technical nature related to immunisations. He is now a part of Bahria public health fraternity since Spring 2024. Also, he is currently pursuing his MS in field epidemiology (2nd semester) from NIH Islamabad.
