Dr. Tehseen Zahra is a researcher and Associate Professor at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Bahria University, Islamabad. Her research interests are corpus linguistics, discourse studies and pragmatics. She was the Managing Editor of Corprum: Journal of Corpus Linguistics, the first corpus based journal of Pakistan. She is Co-PI of a research project named PakGenText, funded by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan. As a researcher, she published her research papers in national and international journals. She has presented her research papers in several national and international Conferences including the UK, Japan and Italy. She worked with the curriculum committee of the Ministry of Education Pakistan and designed different modules for teachers’ training.
