The Department of Computer Science Islamabad arranged a MS Research Symposium on 5th July 2022 at 3:00 pm in LT1. Honorable DG IC Rear Admiral (R) Naveed Rizvi was the guest of honor for the occasion.
The event started with the recitation of few verses from the Holy Quran. Dean ES Prof Dr. Atif Raza Jafri gave the welcome note and explained the objectives of the symposium. The worthy guest DG IC in his speech appreciated efforts of the department in the improvement of the research culture of the University. He encouraged the students to use their best abilities to carry out substantial research.
The symposium had four panels running in parallel. PhD CS and PhD Maths scholars in the advanced stages of research presented their work to the panel of their related fields followed by presentations of MS Research scholars of the four program namely MS CS, MS DS, MS IS and MS Maths. Fifty students presented their research work to the expert panels. The panel gave them valuable feedback and comments for the improvement in their work.
The Symposium concluded at 7:30 pm with a Thank You note from the HoD CS. Dr. Arif ur Rahman.
