Code Fest’22, an event which occurred in Bahria University Islamabad Campus after a long time, where students of CS department were encouraged to come and participate not only to recognize their skills, but to win prizes and awards. The event was divided into three categories: speed coding, E-Gaming and Project Gala. In all these three categories, students were required to register themselves, however for the project Gala, teachers were required to pick the best projects from all the semesters out of which the best project would be selected on the manual day. Moreover, the prize for the Project Gala was based on the best report writing and project demo. 

According to the statistics, 150+ students registered for the event, which was a successful registered numbers by the CS students. On the day of the event 15th of June, all the students were welcomed and the event was started by Com. R. Mehboob Ilahi Malik, SI Military, Director Bahria University Islamabad Campus and HOD of CS department Dr. Arif ur Rehman who encouraged students to do and hope for the best. All the participants went into two phases, one knockout round for all the categories and final round which held on 16th of June.

 Code Fest’22 reached to it’s final day on 16th of June, where everyone including organizers, judges and participants waited to listen to the announcement of the winners after the finale round. In Auditorium, Bahria University Islamabad Campus, all the participants were welcomed warm heartedly starting the ceremony with the recitation of the holy Quran and moving ahead with our chief guest, Com. R. Mehboob Ilahi Malik, Si[Imtiaz] Military, Director Bahria University Islamabad Campus and HOD of CS department Dr. Arif ur Rehman speeches encouraging student to take part in such events and be the part of the generation who will make Pakistan proud. Last but not the least, all the winners were announced and called on stage to receive their prizes. The ceremony was ended with the group photo with our honourable chief guest and HOD of CS department.
