  • Step 1:   CLICK HERE TO APPLY NOW (National Students) and Create an Account
  •                CLICK HERE (International Students)
  • Step 2:   Check your email, Click on the link received in the email and set your Password
  • Step 3:   Log in to your BU account with your email and password (Remember your password)
  • Step 4:   Fill online form following each given step & generate a Fee Voucher
  • Step 5:   Take a print of the Fee Voucher and Pay the Admissions Processing Fee in any branch of Alfalah or Allied Bank
  • Step 6:   Print Entry Test Slip (Admit Slip)
  • Step 7:   Appear in Computer Based Test (CBTs)
  • Step 8:   Find your name in Merit List uploaded by the University on www.bahria.edu.pk    
  • Step 9:   Appear in the Interview as per the date given against your name
  • Step 10: Submit Admissions Fee (1st Semester)

Eligibility Criteria

  • MS/MPhil/Equivalent degree as described in HEC GEP 2023/BU PhD Rules 2023 with a CGPA of 3.5/4.0 (OR an equivalent 70% marks in annual system), from an HEC recognized HEI/university. If the CGPA is not mentioned on the transcript, the candidate must provide equivalent weightage from the parent university.
  • HEC attestation is mandatory for candidates with degrees from local universities. HEC equivalency certificate is mandatory for the candidates with degrees from international universities.
  • The test equivalent to GRE/HAT/GAT General developed at BU with a passing score of 60%. OR The test equivalent to GRE/HAT/GAT General conducted by testing bodies accredited by HEC with a passing score of 60%.
  • In addition, BU may conduct a subject test for admission to PhD programs, if required.
  • The candidates have preferably published at least one W-category journal paper (X-category for Social Sciences), according to the HEC HJRS system, as the first author based on their MS/MPhil/Equivalent research thesis.

Test Subject

The test equivalent to GRE/HAT/GAT General developed at BU with a passing score of 60%. OR The test equivalent to GRE/HAT/GAT General conducted by testing bodies accredited by HEC with a passing score of 60%.
