Ms. Fatima Zulfiqar received her MS degree in Computer Science in January 2022 from COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, Pakistan. She is also a Ph.D. scholar from the same university. She has been a silver medalist in her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. During her academic pursuit, she actively contributed to the field through five publications in esteemed journals of good impact factors, focusing on areas such as machine learning, medical image analysis, computer vision, and digital image processing. Furthermore, she had the privilege of collaborating with prestigious institutions, including Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC), NUST Karachi, and the University of Bergen, Norway, under the European Commission Research Project 778035-PDE-GIR-H2020-MSCA-RISE-2017, led by a Principal Investigator from Bournemouth University. She also serves as a reviewer for several reputable international journals.
Currently, she is serving as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Bahria University Lahore Campus. She has over 2 years of experience in teaching and educational administration. She is also working as a part-time freelancer as a Machine Learning Engineer on different freelancing platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, and Freelancer. Her research interests include Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Medical Image Processing.
