Mr. Shahid Mehmood holds an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Riphah International University, Lahore, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computing at Riphah International University, Islamabad. He has over two decades of experience in academia, encompassing teaching, research, and scholarly contributions at both national and international institutions.
Since 2023, he has been serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Bahria University, Lahore Campus, Pakistan. Prior to this role, he spent 20 years teaching Computer Science at various universities in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he played a pivotal role in shaping academic curricula and mentoring students in advanced computing disciplines.
His research interests lie at the intersection of deep learning, medical image analysis, and information security. He has authored and co-authored high-impact research articles published in prestigious international journals and conferences. In addition to his research contributions, he actively serves as a peer reviewer for renowned research journals and is closely associated with international conferences. His work continues to contribute to advancements in artificial intelligence and healthcare applications, particularly in medical imaging. |
