Dr. Urooj Sadiq: (Sr. Associate Professor, former and founder Hod of Department of Professional Psychology- BULC). She is currently fulfilling her responsibilities as a Harassment Monitoring Officer (HMO) and looking after Umeed-e-Nau (Psychological Services Center). She earned her PhD (Clinical Psychology) in 2009 from the Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Karachi. She has extensive experience (20 years) in teaching, research, clinical practice, and corporate training. She has been involved in major administrative responsibilities during her whole work tenure. She has been working in different reputable HEIs (Pakistan) including the Institute of Clinical Psychology (UoK), COMSATS University of Science and Technology Islamabad-Lahore, and the University of Central Punjab and is currently associated with Bahria University-Lahore since 2018. She has vast research experience which includes several national, international and IF research publications; reviewer of several national and international journals; external examiner (MS &PhD) for different HEIs; and supervision of no. research thesis (MS & PhD). She has conducted no. training on various issues related to mental health for diverse populations. Her main areas of expertise are Psychological Assessment, Psychodiagnosis, and Psychotherapy. She has been invited to no. national and international conferences as keynote speaker, panellist, and session chair at Government College University -Lahore, Government College University- Faisalabad, Center of Clinical Psychology, University of Punjab, Department of Applied Psychology, University of Punjab, Lahore College for Women University, Forman's Christian College. |
