LLM (Environmental Law)

Programme Objectives (POs):

  1. Producing LL.M graduates and prospective research scholars with specialised and in-depth knowledge of Environmental Law.
  2. Creating and developing legal research intellect in environmental law alongside the policy.
  3. Inculcating analytical and critical thinking amongst scholars.
  4. Preparing leaders in the field of Environmental Law, imbued with ethical values, for the current and future generations.

Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs):

After completion of the degree, students will be able to:

  1. Identify practical consequences of various legal rules and formulate advanced policy arguments through reasoning in Environmental Law.
  2. Articulate their thoughts in a coherent and effective manner.
  3. Apply and litigate Environmental Law in multiple jurisdictions.
  4. Understand the nexus between the practical aspects of the legal profession and academia

Admission Criteria:

  • An LL.B degree with a minimum of 55% marks or 3.0 CGPA. (As per HEC requirements)
