Upcoming Activities/Planned Events:

BUAA elected body intends to take following initiatives:

·         Launch of “ARMS” –Alumni Relationship Management System.

To develop an authentic, credible database of all the Alumni Members, with their updated records. The work is already underway in close cooperation with the Office of Students Affairs. A form is being devised to compile all the respective information of the alumni member, and it shall shortly be available online in due course of time.

A personal space shall be allocated to every member online, so that he or she may be Able to access and update information, alerts and news instantly. As a next phase we also plan to devise a social portal for the alumni, so as to capture the highlights and achievements of the university and the alumni as well.

·         Academia – Industry Liaison

We believe in enhancing the Academia  -Industry liaison, we expect the respectable Alumni to step forward in this regard with an aim to create platforms, events, workshops for the students in the coming years that will enable innovative thinking, transforming ideas into action and changing the face of this university for the outside world as we know it. With support from the both the university administration and the alumni, our objective is to turn Bahria University from a knowledge center into an incubator for innovation and ideas where we can help our juniors achieve their dreams and make a mark in the industry

·         Sponsor a Student for Life

Targeted towards the corporate sector, whereby we request the Industry to step in and select a needy and deserving student on merit and sponsor his/her education with a promise of taking him/her on board at the end of his academic tenure.

·         Semester Sponsorship

In this program we aim at selecting at least one student from each discipline and awarding sponsorship for one semester.  This shall be a merit based scholarship; the respective student would be required to file an application to the Alumni body before the commencement of the semester after which he or she will have to go through extensive round of interviews with both the delegates from the university as well as from the alumni. The successful candidate shall then be offered the scholarship for one semester. This scholarship shall be generated by the funding arranged by the Alumni therefore we request the respected Alumni to step forward and make some generous donations, the account details can be taken from DSA office.

·         Own a Brick / Block

Alumni and the Industry is encouraged to purchase a brick / block in the University, this small generous gesture seems like a small step but is a giant leap for the generations to come
